Made from Western Red Cedar (10-year guarantee!) to stringent specifications, our greenhouses and garden buildings are perfectly suited to growing under glass. Red cedar, ideal for a greenhouse or garden building, is material which doesn't shrink, swell or warp excessively, even when subjected to changes in temperature and moisture. Plus it's virtually immune to decay. It has excellent insulating qualities, reducing energy costs in winter months – up to 20% saving on heating costs ! Its pleasant aroma is a natural repellent to moths, insects and vermin. An important point to note is the reduced interior condensation inside the greenhouse which means easier cleaning and fewer diseases and fungi.

The cedar used in our buildings is supplied only from certified sources providing evidence of sustainable forestry management.
